Well I can't believe it, but in a little more than a month I will be moving to Japan to start a new job as an English teacher. Right now, though, Japan seems like a mysterious dream that will surely never come true. It probably won't hit me until I actually arrive in my new country and move into my new apartment.
During my stay in Japan, I hope to use this blog as a personal diary. I really have never kept such a log, but in doing so I will attempt to save an electronic copy of all my experiences, however small they might be, so that I will not forget anything. Before I leave, though, I will try to start writing about my pre-departure routine and everything else that moving to Japan entails

After graduating college, I am now living and working in Japan. I am working as an assitant language teacher at a Junior High School in Nagano Prefecture. I hope this blog will serve as a mode for me to record the events and experiences I encounter while living in Japan.
